Mississippi Kites at Jubilee College State Park

Mississippi Kite flying over the trees at Jubilee. After hearing a report of Mississippi Kites at Jubilee state park, we drove out to see if they were still around. We followed the directions given and as soon as we stopped the car, Scott looked up at a dead tree and said, "Look, there's a hawk like bird." I checked it out with my binoculars and yes it was a Mississippi Kite! Another was flying overhead, along with four or five Turkey Vultures. The Kite in the tree let us watch him for quite a while before he/she flew to another location.
