I woke early last weekend and drove down to the boat launch area to watch the sun rise over the lake.
Several Bull Frogs were croaking near the shore.
The prairie near the Rare Fish pond was in bloom.
Yellow Coneflowers dominate the landscape.
Several deer were out in the prairie. This one near TNC headquarters watched me for a few minutes before continuing on its way.
Prairie flowers decorate the bluff in rolling scrolls.
An apple tree along Clark Road was hanging full of ripe fruit and butterflies.
Many Red-spotted Purple butterflies:
Question Mark Butterflies:
Heavy dew and fog hung low over the corn growing along Clark Road on the north side of the preserve.
