Sunrise at Emiquon

I woke early last weekend and drove down to the boat launch area to watch the sun rise over the lake.

Several Bull Frogs were croaking near the shore.

Several deer were out in the prairie. This one near TNC headquarters watched me for a few minutes before continuing on its way.

Heavy dew and fog hung low over the corn growing along Clark Road on the north side of the preserve.
